چکیده

This study aimed to investigate the expression and clinical significance of micro ribonucleic acid-132 sex-determining region Y-box 4 gene in colon cancer. Luciferase reporter system was used validate target directly regulated by acid-132. Transwell invasion assay test effect on invasiveness SW620 cells. Micro levels cancerous peri-cancerous tissues were measured using situ hybridization EleVisionTM immunohistochemistry staining. downregulated protein inhibited cancer In 72 tissue samples cancer, positive rate 18.1 % (13/72) 73.6 (53/72), both expressions showed significant differences as compared (p<0.01). significantly lower with lymph node metastasis than without Sex-determining elevated along Dukes stage increase higher accompanied more tumor depth (both p<0.05). Expression of sex-determining region Y-box protein 2 in breast cancer and its clinical significance

Sex-determining region Y-box protein 2 (SOX2) is an embryo transcription factor located on chromosome 3q26.3-q27. It plays an important role in the maintenance of differentiation and self-renewal of pluripotent stem cells. Studies have shown that SOX2 is associated with multiple cancers and is overexpressed in many different phenotypes of breast cancer. To study the relationship between SOX2 an...

Sex-determining region Y box 4 is a transforming oncogene in human prostate cancer cells.

Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed noncutaneous neoplasm and second most common cause of cancer-related mortality in western men. To investigate the mechanisms of prostate cancer development and progression, we did expression profiling of human prostate cancer and benign tissues. We show that the SOX4 is overexpressed in prostate tumor samples compared with benign tissues by microar...

Comparative In silico Study of Sex-Determining Region Y (SRY) Protein Sequences Involved in Sex-Determining

Background: The SRY gene (SRY) provides instructions for making a transcription factor called the sex-determining region Y protein. The sex-determining region Y protein causes a fetus to develop as a male. In this study, SRY of 15 spices included of human, chimpanzee, dog, pig, rat, cattle, buffalo, goat, sheep, horse, zebra, frog, urial, dolphin and killer whale were used for determine of bioi...

Active hexose-correlated compound down-regulates sex-determining region Y-box 2 of pancreatic cancer cells.

BACKGROUND/AIM Active hexose-correlated compound (AHCC) is an extract of basidiomycete mushroom. It has been used as health food due to its efficacy of enhancing antitumor effects and reducing adverse effects of chemotherapy. Our previous research showed that AHCC down-regulated heat-shock protein (HSP)-27 and exhibited cytotoxic effects against gemcitabine-resistant pancreatic cancer cells. Se...
